City of Mt. Sterling
About the Survey
The City of Mt. Sterling, in partnership with the Illinois Housing Development Authority (IHDA), is undertaking a planning effort within the city (see map). This survey is the first step in that planning process to gather community input as a baseline for future community planning meetings and a final plan document.
We invite you to be part of this Community Revitalization Strategy process by participating in the “Community Needs Assessment Survey.” The survey is completely anonymous and does not collect any identifying information. You should be able to complete the survey in under 10 minutes. Your participation will help our agency and the City of Mt. Sterling strategize for future planning and investment, and identify community needs and goals. Please answer the questions based on your own perceptions of Mt. Sterling, even if you do not reside there. The survey first considers several community characteristics such as: Mobility, Community Life, Economy, Education and Wellness, and lastly, Community Engagement and Initiatives. The second portion of the survey further assesses your community input.
