IHDA Human Resources Mission Statement
In support of IHDA's principles, values, and vision, it is the Human Resources Department's Mission to support the total operation in meeting IHDA's goals through its most valuable resources – its PEOPLE. It is our mission to create an atmosphere which fosters challenges, teamwork, excellence, diversity, and consistency in our pursuit of uncompromising quality.
The Illinois Housing Development Authority does not discriminate, and will not tolerate discrimination, on the basis of race, color, national origin, ethnic origin, sex, sexual orientation, age, or handicap or disability as those terms are defined under applicable law.
In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act and the Illinois Human Rights Act, State agencies must ensure that the employment process is accessible to persons with disabilities. Specifically, these laws require us to provide reasonable accommodations upon request by individuals participating in all steps of the employment process. This includes the initial testing phases of the candidate selection process as well as the subsequent employment interview process. Any and all accommodation requests by applicants throughout the employment process should be appropriately reviewed and considered by Human Resources. If you require such an accommodation, please contact the Human Resources Department at (312) 836-5301.
